General Contractor:
Legacy Construction Inc.
Subcontractor(s):
Carolina Siteworks
Project Start Date: May 2022
Project Completed: February 2023
Project Cost: $508,591
Working closely with our civil infrastructure partners, Carolina Siteworks, we led the effort to stabilize the soil and implement new foundational elements. Simultaneously, the storm drain system was re-engineered to significantly increase its capacity and flow rate, resolving the long-standing hydraulic deficiency.
Given the scope and scale of the civil work, we managed the logistics for heavy earthmoving equipment, specialized piping, and foundational materials. The $508,591 budget was carefully managed to absorb the cost of the necessary re-engineering and ensure all materials arrived on a large federal site, compliant with all regulations.
The project duration, spanning from May 2022 to February 2023, reflected the complexity of addressing the underlying soil and hydraulic issues. My management ensured the extended scope was executed efficiently, minimizing disruption to the military center's operations.
